We went to Wrexham limit show tonight where our judge was Trevor Boarman, I could only show Diesel as Solo has tickets, anyway there was a ESS class with 3 entries and Diesel was placed 1st. We didnt get any further though. I always enjoy these type of shows as there never seems to be the same pressure. Only thing is I didnt get to bed till midnight.

We travelled down to Usk in wales for the ESS club of wales open show where our judge was Miss Sharon Pinkerton of the Bareve affix. 29th March
We travelled up to Crawford John in Scotland yesterday to the English Springer Spaniel Club of Scotland to go under Breed Specialist Diane Scott, at their Champ Show. Solo was placed 1st in the veteran dog class and then at the end of a long day was awarded best veteran in show. Diesel was in the post graduate class and gained a 3rd, I was pleased with this result as he is now qualified for crufts next year if I decide to go.

14th March
A very early start today and off to Crufts we went. Solo was entered in the Veteran class and was placed 4th out of 8/9 dogs, Diesel was in the yearling class but didnt do as well and was not placed, to be fair he was a good boy and did everything right, the judge wasnt picking his type. I had chance to catch up with people who I havent seen for a while. It was a good day but I am glad it is all over for another year.

28th Feb
Finally a bit of news to share, yesterday we travelled to Chalfont St Giles to the Southern ESS Society CH show where our judge was breed specialist Wendy Bentley. A really good day out with Diesel getting a 3rd and a 2nd in his classes and Solo winning the veteran dog class and then had to challenge a little lady and was declared best veteran in show. Lots of laughs were had throughout the day, but oh what a long day.
